2010-04-30 Madness & Grace" entered the Swedish Album Sales Chart at #6!
This last week has been pretty weird for us... Last friday, we were told our album had went straight into the Top Ten as the second best newcomer (after Crash Diet), landing on #6 click here to see the chart We knew the album was selling well,but still, this was beyond our wildest imagination when we started this band back in 2006.

2010-04-30 Last weeks shows + TV, radio and stuff

Last weeks shows went really well, starting off in Gävle with an accoustic gig at Alla Tiders Skivhandel + some record signings and stuff. Then at night we played the CC, where we got this fantastic review:

Then we headed further for another fantastic gig at O'Learys in Söderhamn. The contact with the crowd was just plain amazing. Slept a few hours before we went up at 6 in the morning to drive all the way up to Umeå for another record store gig at Burmans Musik. Charlie's father and aunt who lives there came by so he got to met them for a short while before heading up to Sellefteå. We played a great show in front of a pretty small but enthusiastic crowd.

The next morning we drove all the way down to Stockholm to load in our gear for the TV show at TV4 Nyhetsmorgon. All in all we drove about 170 swedish miles. The performance and the interview at TV4 went really well and can be seen here:

TV4 Nyhetsmorgon + some reviews of the album

Howdy folks
The wheels have started spinning big time here over the last couple of days. Fantastic reviews are coming in all the time and we were just offered to play at TV4 Nyhetsmorgon (national) this monday the 26th of April! We will be interviewed and performing two songs from the album between 9.00 and 11.00 in the morning.

On top of that we will also do an interview on TV4 Gävle/Dala this Friday, the 23rd of April, to be broadcasted on their news program.

And also, on the same day, we will play two songs accoustic on P4 Radio Gävleborg + an interiew. Make shure to catch us live in Gävle, Söderhamn, Umeå and Skellefteå this week, starting tomorrow in Gävle. See TOUR for further info.

Erik Brodén performing our songs...

Hello there!

We have had such a fantastic week/weekend that it's hard to know where to start.... On Friday the 2nd of April we gathered down in Stockholm for some intense rehearsal and drinking. Saturday we went to the Crazy Nights Rockfest to watch our producers Martin Karlegårds old band Reptile Smile along with other sleaze and glam bands... Not exactly our cup of tea but we had a good time anyway. Then I hanged with Martin in Hökarängen until Thursday when Lisa and the kids came down for the releaseparty at Scandic Malmen.

It was such a fantastic night, the place was so packed they had to close the entrance after 500 people had entered the club. And we did a fantastic gig, with great sound both on stage and from the audience we were told. Here is some pix from the whole thing, taken by Cecilia Johnsson.

This week we are starting off in Gävle on thursday with an accoustic gig at Alla Tiders Skivhandel at 17.00, then we are playing a full gig at CC Puben in central Gävle. Of Friday we are doing an interview with TV4 and an accoustic live set on P4 Radio Gävleborg around 15.30, so make shure to check in on that!

We are proud to present the new version of the new Hellsingland Underground site!

We have listened to all your feedback about the previous version, and we do agree that it was a little bit too dark and messy. Among other things. This one feels more like "us". There will be more functions and pix and sections and stuff added soon. A "comment" function or some kind of forum as well. But the main ingredients are here now hopefully. There are just so many things happening right now, and we will tell you all about it soon. Tomorrow we will gather down in Stockholm for some rehearsal for the upcoming tour

We hope to see as many as possible of you guys at our release party at Scandic Malmen in Stockholm, April 15. Just a week from now actually!

Our guests onstage will be legendary Anders F Rönnblom, Helena Ahlbäck (who I sing with on the song Vera) our own George Martin, producer Martin Karlegård and last but not least: Erik Brodén, former guitarist of Perssons Pack will be warming up the audience with some accoustic versions of some Hellsingland Underground greatest hits! Jack Daniels & Hälsingebrygd (Hälsinglands only beer brewery) will sponsor with some free drinks!
